Gravels have a variety of applications and are primarily used when installing a walkway, a French drain, or accenting a flower bed.
A washed Texas gravel approximately 3/8” to 5/8” in diameter. Its color is predominately brown in color and is an attractive decorative stone between pieces of Flagstone. It can also be added to a potting mix for additional drainage.
A smaller version of Bull Rock. A rare 2″ rock not found at many other yards. It can be used for erosion control, French Drains along the foundation of a house or an accent to flower bed edges.
Also a Texas gravel approximately 1.5” and smaller. It is predominately brown in color ranges similar to Pea Gravel. It is better suited on walkway areas because it does not disperse as much as Pea Gravel, making it an easier surface to walk on. It can also be used in French Drains.
A large version of 1.5” gravel, typically 2-5” in diameter. It can be used for erosion control, French Drains along the foundation of a house or an accent to flower bed edges.
Brought in from the Texas Hill Country, Granite Gravel is one of the most popular gravels for walkways and jogging paths. The silt, fines and clays help this material bond to create a stiffer surface than a typical gravel, and works extremely well to set Flagstone or Concrete Pavers.
